Love from Tokyo : DESIGN DIRECTLY FROM JAPAN !

Love from Tokyo, is above all the story of a love at first sight for Japan and its design culture.

The founders of the website, Emmanuelle and Guillaume, are a couple from Grenoble (in the French Alps) that love Japan very very much.

The beginning

In february 2006, Guillaume has decided to go skiing in the Japanese Alps in order to get some reports for his own company and also spend some days in Tokyo. He came back totally convinced that Japan was the best place on earth... and arms full of gifts. When noticing how popular these japanese products were among our friends and relatives, Emmanuelle decided to jump at the chance and to create her own shop.

We have decided to search for those unique products that can only be found in Tokyo (or almost) in order to offer them to a european public, in small series. 

3 trips to Japan (and a baby) later, on the 10th of november 2008, the shop is finally online.

Japanese products, but not only !

Don't be surprised if, on our website, you discover a nice swiss belt, a laptop case from Taiwan or a beautiful corean lamp. We exclusively reference products found in Tokyo, but we do not limit ourselves to"Made in Japan" producs only. It would be a shame to ignore the many foreigner designers that have created and offered all those beautiful objects that flood the Japanese market.
